- All products are tested by internationally recognized institutes, like Dermscan Group in France and the institute for applied dermatological research Dermatest in Germany.
- In addition, Novelino Sensitive are the first disposable baby diapers in Europe, to be Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified for the absence of more than 200 harmful substances. They have been tested according to the strictest criteria corresponding to products intended for infants 0-3 years.
- The Hellenic Society for Paediatric Dermatology recommend MEGA’s baby diapers and baby wipes.
- Also, recommended by the Hellenic Midwives Association.
What is the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100 certification?
Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100 is an internationally recognized system of laboratory testing which certifies that the products do not contain harmful substances. The Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100 certification differs depending on the type of product and the use for which it is intended. Novelino Sensitive diapers have been checked against stringent criteria corresponding to products intended for children aged 0-3 years. The testing is repeated at least once a year and changes in raw material are recommended if they have not passed these strict controls.
Novelino Sensitive is also being tested by:
- EDANA-INDA (Belgium - USA): We follow approved methods of international organizations for the control of our raw materials.
- SGS COURTRAY LABORATORY (France): The findings of our laboratory have been confirmed by comparing with samples sent to the SGS Courtray lab.
- GALAB Laboratories (Germany): baby diapers are tested for the absence of undesirable substances and by the GALAB Laboratory.
- CENTROCOT (Italy) & SHIRLEY Technologies Limited (Great Britain): Novelino Sensitive diapers pass strict controls to ensure that they do not contain chemicals that can cause problems in babies.
Get consulting by specific groups of scientists
- Every stage of development and production of Novelino Sensitive products is getting the consent of a team of specialists with whom we work and is composed of midwives, obstetricians, pediatricians, dermatologists, etc..
- No animal testing in the design and production of our products.
- MEGA does not use laboratory animals for research purposes for any of its products.
